Sustainable Switzerland Forum

Focus Topics

At the fourth edition of the Sustainable Switzerland Forum, participants can choose to delve deeper into the topic of sustainability in one of three thematic streams: Circular economy, Supply chain tensions or AI & energy management. This division makes it possible to organize the morning according to individual interests and to go into more depth on one focus topics.

Circular economy

Where does the Swiss economy stand in relation to the circular economy? What strategies help to conserve resources and extend the life of products? How can companies benefit from models such as sharing, reusing, repairing and remanufacturing? Practical examples and panel discussions will provide insights into forward-looking solutions and invite you to join in the thinking and discussion.

Supply chain tensions

How do developments in international trade affect the regulation of sustainability and supply chains? What role do EU regulations play for Swiss companies and who is the driving force behind sustainable products - the companies, the customers or the legislators? The focus topic of supply chains explores how companies can successfully build sustainable supply chains — from procurement through to communication.

AI & energy management

Artificial intelligence offers new opportunities to accelerate sustainability. At the same time, data-intensive AI applications are increasing energy consumption. How can this trade-off be resolved? What is the right balance between efficiency and resource consumption? Practical examples and expert discussions will highlight the opportunities, challenges and solutions for the sustainable use of AI in the energy industry.
